Debem Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump KM Series

KM 70

Sealless centrifugal pumps for corrosives.

The Debem magnetic drive centrifugal pump KM series is designed to transfer clean, highly corrosive liquids.
The magnetic drive isolates the motor shaft of the pump from fluids, and the sealless design minimises the risk of leaks and corrosion.

Features & Benefits

  • Sealless magnetic drive, no mechanical seal or internal wetted metal parts
  • Leak‑free operation enhances safety and reduces environmental/housekeeping risks
  • Broad chemical compatibility, as PP/PVDF minimises corrosion issues and extends service life

Specifications

  • Max flow: 65 m³/h
  • Operating pressure: up to 29 m head (≈ 2.84 bar) with water at 20°C
  • Weight: PP 33 kg; PVDF 34.5 kg (pump without motor)

How does the Debem KM Series pump work?

The Debem KM series pump uses a magnetic drive centrifugal design. A motor-driven outer magnet transmits torque through a containment shell to an inner magnet on the impeller, allowing the pump to run without a mechanical seal.

The impeller accelerates the fluid outward as it rotates, converting velocity into pressure within the pump casing. This generates the required flow and head.

The KM Series provides completely leak-free operation, as the impeller runs without direct shaft penetration. It is best suited for clean, non-abrasive fluids where safe handling of hazardous or aggressive media is critical.
